SIPs are one option. They are sturdy, insulated building panels typically
used as walls and roofs in residential and commercial buildings. They
are made up of one layer of 1/2' interior OSB (oriented strand board),
insulation of either Expanded Polystyrene or Urethane, and one layer
of 1/2' exterior OSB bonded together. |

Panel sizes vary depending on the requirements of your building locale.
Generally, we find that 4 1/2' wall panels, which allows for 3 1/2' of insulation,
and 6 1/2' roof panels, with 5 1/2' of insulation are used. This form of enclosure
provides a very strong and energy efficient structure.
We can assume full responsibility for the supply and installation of SIPs for
your frame. Or, if your general contractor feels comfortable with the installation,
we can supply one man for one or two days to get the process started.
